Course Description: CHN 102: Mandarin Chinese II

This course introduces Mandarin Chinese language presented within the context of Chinese culture. The second course of a three-course sequence. Develops fundamental language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) in communicative context. This is a college-level course. Although assignments, tests, and quizzes are optional for Community Education students, you will be expected to fully participate. A textbook may be required for this course. Please check with the COCC Bookstore. This is a non-credit Community Education class. You will not receive college credit. Prerequisites: CHN 101.

Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
