As organizations employ concepts such as flatter management structures, outsourcing, and virtual teams, a greater number of employees are being asked to get things done through peers inside and outside their organizations. The challenge becomes how to accomplish this without the direct authority. This workshop will explore using the concept of influence, also termed lateral leadership, as a method to drive initiatives within an organization.
