#6015 Occupational Safety and Health Course for Other Federal Agencies

This course covers the recognition, evaluation, and control of safety and health hazards for other federal agencies. Course topics include the OSH Act, Executive Order 12196, 29 CFR 1960 and 1910 General Industry Standards, understanding the Federal Safety and Health program regulations, identification of safety and health hazards, controlling hazards, hazard abatement, and construction focus four topics. This course is intended for federal employees responsible for the occupational safety and health programs at their respective agencies.

Upon course completion students will have the ability to apply OSHA General Industry Standards and regulations pertaining to federal agencies, identify safety and health hazards, and control and hazard abatement.

Minimum student contact hours: 53 CEU: 5.3
