#3365 Occupational Safety and Health Hazards in the Healthcare Industry

This course provides an overview of OSHA standards applicable to the healthcare industry. Topics include common healthcare facility types, worker roles, and prevalent workplace hazards. Participants will explore applicable OSHA standards, injury and illness recordkeeping requirements, and available compliance resources. Emphasis is placed on identifying physical and health-related hazards, evaluating workplace conditions, and applying effective hazard control strategies to protect healthcare workers.
