Course Title: (HIS220) DOUGLASS DAY 2025! COMMUNITY TRANSCRIBE-A-THON

Join USCB to celebrate Frederick Douglass's legacy at our annual transcribe-a-thon. Help digitize historical documents vital to African American history and make these collections accessible to all. The transcribe-a-thon includes virtual educational programming, which alternates with transcribing for approximately 30 minutes at a time. No experience required; training is provided.

Kim Kelley

Biography:

KIMBERLY KELLEY is Director of Libraries and Professor at the University of South Carolina Beaufort. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the USCB libraries. She has a Ph.D. in education, an MLIS in library science, and an MS in legal studies.
