Course Title: (ECO212, ECO213) MAY RIVER EXPEDITION

This class uses a random draw waitlist selection for participation, with participants being notified on January 27, 2026. If selected, you'll be notified and must pay a $35 tour fee to confirm your spot. If not selected, you'll stay on the waitlist and will be contacted if a space opens.

Come aboard Captain Amber Kuehn's floating classroom, Spartina, to explore Bluffton's May River. On this biology expedition, you will explore the interesting and unique life of the Lowcountry's salt marsh estuary. Amber, a marine biologist, will provide scientific explanations as you take a trip through this scenic river and salt marsh. Dolphins, wading birds, and fiddler crabs are among other visitors commonly seen on the tour.
