Course Title: (ART200, ART201) DRAWING BEAUFORT'S STATELY OAKS

This workshop teaches beginning and intermediate artists to draw realistic three-dimensional oaks using cylinders and ellipses. Students will explore cross-contours, texture, and minimal foliage. Includes a plein-air session on the Beaufort campus. Sketchbooks, pencils, pens, and erasers provided.

Biography:

DICK BJORNSETH is an award-winning artist/photographer featured in14 solo shows and 45 other exhibitions around the country. He served 18 yearsas a Foundations professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design(SCAD). MFA in studio art from Florida State University.
