Course Title: (LEG203) THE U.S. SUPREME COURT: RECENT DECISIONS AND THE CURRENT TERM

This course returns to OLLI for another installment of lively discussion and debate. The course will focus on United States Supreme Court decisions from the Court's most recent term and will cover a wide variety of topics, with a particular emphasis on civil rights and liberties. NOTE: Students will be emailed excerpts from Court decisions to read in advance of class.

Biography:

STEPHEN MEYER is a Bluffton attorney who earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina. While engaged in the full-time private practice of law, Steve devotes his scholarly interests to the analysis of U.S. Supreme Court decisions and the impact of these decisions on the daily life of the American public.
