Course Title: (ECO214) NEMOURS WILDLIFE FOUNDATION: LOWCOUNTRY CONSERVATION AND ECOLOGY

Join Nemours Wildlife Foundation for a guided tour of the ACE Basin, featuring a presentation on activities that shaped Lowcountry wetlands and a wagon ride through impoundments and pine savannas. Experience wildlife management in practice and observe firsthand beautiful vistas, diverse wildlife, and the legacy of rice cultivation in South Carolina.

Schedule: April 8, 2026. This is a random-draw selection class that will be drawn on January 27, 2026. You will be notified at that time if you have been selected. If selected, a $10 tour fee will be due to finalize your registration.

Course Notes:

This tour will take place on an open-air trailer with cushioned bench seating. We will make periodic stops to talk about the Foundation's history, address current conservation efforts, and enjoy the sights and sounds. This tour requires limited walking. More details to follow.
