Course Title: (CUL10426) BREAD MAKING- BASICS AND BEYOND

From simple quick breads to hearty multi-grain loaves, this course offers a journey through the world of grain-based baking. Students will start with easy to make recipes and then delve into more complex creations. Along the way participants will enjoy small samples and gain a deeper appreciation for the art and science of bread making.

Course Notes:

Breadmaking will be taking place at the St. Helena Anglican church Parish House kitchen: 507 Newcastle St, Beaufort, SC 29902. There is a church parking lot on the corner of North and Charles- if available park there and we will have the kitchen door open on the North Street entrance.

Barbara Krakehl

Biography: BARBARA KRAKEHL is a retired educator and a member of the Beaufort Curriculum Committee. Making bread is such a pleasant experience; the aromas are delightful, and eating a well-made loaf is not to be missed!
