Biography: MARY SEGARS is originally from Blacksburg, VA, and moved with her family to Beaufort in 1996, where she soon taught herself to paint. She participated in various juried shows and festivals in South Carolina (including Spoleto),Georgia, and Florida for years, but now spends most of her time painting in her Beaufort studio and teaching workshops.
