Biography: Teri Pohorsky has over 30 years of international kayaking and teaching experience and holds a master's degree as a reading specialist. She is also a certified Master Naturalist from the Lowcountry. Jim Pohorsky has explored the Lowcountry by kayak for over 25 years. Both Teri and Jim are graduates of Iowa State University.

After the kayak tour, drive to Johnson Creek Tavern for lunch, then head to the Gay Fish Company for a tour and hands-on demonstration of shrimping in the Lowcountry.
