Biography: MARGARET (PEGGY) PICKETT is a graduate of the University of Maryland, an independent researcher, a Living History presenter, and author. She co-authored The European Struggle to Settle North America and is the author of two nonfiction biographies: Eliza Lucas Pinckney: Colonial Plantation Manager and Mother of American Patriots, and Rebecca Brewton Motte: American Patriot and Successful Plantation Manager.
