Vance Holliday
Biography: VANCE HOLLIDAY earned a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder. He was on the Geography faculty at the University of Wisconsin (1986-2002) and Anthropology and Geosciences at the University of Arizona (2002-2022). He directed the Argonaut Archaeology Research Fund at UA, focused on the early peopling of the Southwest, and also conducted Paleolithic research in Southwest Russia and central Ukraine.
