Course Title: (HIS232) THE CASTLES OF WESTERN EUROPE: PROFILES AND HISTORY

European castles hold a magical allure and provocative mystery that intrigue most Americans, but not many have explored their fascinating stories. This class delves into the key components of castles and the history and lore of a select few. It offers an entertaining look at castles, which served as both home and fortress to certain classes of the Middle Ages, and profiles the history of 44, including Bodiam Castle and Leeds Castle - two of the most photographed castles in the world - which Jack has explored in person.
