Course Title: (HEA11126) UNDERSTANDING MEDICARE'S VALUE-BASED CARE

This is an OLLI Digital Library recording and is available to view until December 31, 2026.

This program will provide an overview of the Medicare Value-Based Care Program from a patient perspective. The value-based care initiative is designed to improve quality, equity, and access to care while reducing costs to deliver healthcare services to the community. The goal of Value-Based Care is to transform care delivery from a payment system based on the number of services provided (fee-for-service) to a focus on "value" to the patient that helps improve health status while keeping costs down.
