Stress is a normal part of human response to challenges in our daily lives. Stress can originate from environmental, psychological or social situations perceived as straining or exceeding adaptive capabilities. As much as 75% of medical conditions result from stress and prolonged demands on human coping resources. Remaining healthy in stressful situations can be achieved through mental hardiness and resilience.
