Course Title: (FILM100) FILM APPRECIATION AND ANALYSIS - THE 1970s

The 1970s were the most significant period in American Cinema history. It saw the emergence of influential directors who produced daring films that explored social and political themes and challenged traditional filmmaking styles, which resulted in many iconic classics. In this course, we will view and analyze three movies from this historic period. NOTE: Concessions will be available for purchase before each movie.

Martin Scorsese and Robert DeNiro created a masterpiece of filmmaking and acting that has a tangible effect on American culture to this day.
