Course Title: (SCI102) LEARN ASTRONOMY AND HISTORY AT THE SAME TIME
Learn about the scientists and philosophers who started us on the path to learning what the stars and cosmos are all about. We will examine the works of notable scholars such as Aristotle, Ptolemy, Copernicus, Brahe, Kepler, Galileo, and Hubble. In a brief glimpse into the Dark Ages, we'll also examine why so many stars have Arabic names today. Did you realize that it wasn't until around the 1900s that we realized what stars are made of? Learn a bit of history and astronomy at the same time.
