Course Title: (HIS200) SECRETS OF THE SEA PINES SHELL RING

For many years, archaeologist have been working to uncover the deeply buried secrets left behind by the people who built the Sea Pines Shell Ring. Drs. Katherine Seeber and Matthew Sanger have worked to investigate who built the ring, why they built it, and what function it served. Through using archaeology and Native American theory and history, the archaeologists have rewritten a lost 4000-year-old chapter of the Hilton Head Island Story.
