Course Title: (CINT11126) RAILS TO TRAILS: HOW RAIL LINES BECAME PATHWAYS
We will examine how converting disused rail lines to engaging pathways for walking and bicycling came from several historical disruptions and a series of federal laws and court cases. Then we will explore two rail trails in our neighborhood and also see examples of how the concept has caught on throughout the world.
