The epic 3-day clash in July 1863, provides the context for a number of human interest stories and fascinating side-bars that bring the impact of Gettysburg down to a grassroots level. This course offers a fresh look at the great battle that cost a staggering 51,000 casualties in and around the crossroads Pennsylvania farming town.
