Course Title: (GOV10326) THE CHANGING FEDERAL ROLE IN U.S. RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
The U.S. R&D enterprise-built post-World War II by the federal government, universities, and private sector-has driven breakthroughs in computing, medicine, AI, weather and space. In 2025, major funding cuts have disrupted research institutions nationwide. This program examines the infrastructure, its achievements, and the public policy and ethical consequences of reduced support.
