Course Title: (SCI201) TRACKING THE FIRST AMERICANS

The question of when people first arrived in the Americas has been debated for decades-even centuries. Beginning with findings at Clovis, New Mexico, and other sites, the dates ranged from 13,000 to 16,000 years ago. Footprints found at White Sands, New Mexico, and dated using carbon now show people were here during the last Ice Age-at least 23,000 years ago and likely earlier. Learn about this exciting discovery and what it means for the study of archaeology.
