There are mountains to hike, resorts to enjoy, islands to explore, wineries, apple orchards, and so much more-all just two to five hours from the Lowcountry. This class highlights a variety of fall travel destinations perfect for quick getaways, offering inspiration for scenic adventures, relaxing retreats, and seasonal experiences. Participants will discover some of the region's most appealing places to visit in autumn, along with ideas for making the most of nearby attractions. The session also draws on decades of regional travel experience and highlights insights from a well-established tour program, Weekend Get-Aways on a Tank of Gas.
