This presentation takes a wide perspective on the pros and cons of owning an electric vehicle. Two opposing views look at the environmental benefits, cost savings, energy independence, performance, and technological advancements of this fast-growing industry. What about their limited range, performance in cold temperatures, refueling requirements, and concerns about battery disposal? Do the benefits outweigh these concerns? What about costs, are EV's less expensive over the long run?
