Winner of the Best International Feature Film, this is the story of Eunice Paiva - a wife and mother coping with the forced disappearance of her husband, Rubens Paiva during the 1964-1985 military dictatorship in Brazil. Based on her son's memoir, it is a true-life, gripping tale of one woman's strength and courage in the face of tyranny.
