Course Title: (GAR10326) CULTIVATING CONNECTIONS FLOWERS, FOOD, AND SUSTAINABILITY IN THE LOWCOUNTRY
The Lowcountry is rich in natural beauty, sustainable farming, and community traditions that connect us to the land. In this course, you'll explore horticulture, pollinators, native plants, and sustainable agriculture through the voices of local growers and experts. Participants will have the opportunity on Thursday, October 8, to take guided visits to area farms, including Helena Hills Farm, D&S Plantation, and Rollen's Raw Grains. More details will be provided in class.
