Course Title: (FILM10226) THE LANGUAGES OF CINEMA
Movies and television have employed constructed languages over the years, such as Klingon in Star Trek, Dothraki in Game of Thrones, and Navi from Avatar. Where did these languages come from? What was the process used to create them? This presentation will examine the cultural world-building and creative process behind creating fictional languages that feel authentic, expressive, and dramatically compelling.
