T&L 2900: MC: GeoFIT Forestry 2025: Living With Our Environment

The institute provides experiential learning and resources for curriculum planning and development and how to help foster environmental responsibility of natural resources in stewards of all ages. The course will focus on immersing participants with the great outdoors.  Participants will bike, hike and kayak around Lake Cross Ranch State Park. The purpose of the workshop is to provide attendees with authentic experiences to help their application to the North Dakota Common Core (K-12) standards for geography.  Educators have an opportunity to expand their content knowledge and study how geology, geography and forests work together to minimize environmental impacts and land disturbances.

Cancellation Policy

If UND receives the Course Withdrawal Form 7 or more calendar days before the learning event start date, the fee paid to UND Professional Development for Educators minus a $35 processing fee will be refunded. If the fee paid to UND is less than $100 the processing fee will be waived. NO REFUNDS are available if a withdrawal notification is received 6 or less calendar days before the learning event start date.
