T&L 2900: CPM Foundations for Inspiring Connections

This professional learning is designed for teachers new to implementing CPM Inspiring Connections materials. This learning event is the synchronous part of the series that occurs prior to the start of teaching. The entire series contains multiple components and is grounded in active experiences delivered over the first year. The experiences in the foundational series will encourage teachers to adjust their instructional practices, expand their content knowledge, and challenge their beliefs about teaching and learning. Through this learning event and additional asynchronous work, teachers and leaders will gain first-hand experience with CPM and concentrate on the course content they will be teaching. Over the course of the series, educators will experience mathematics, consider instructional practices, and gain strategies to create the classroom environment necessary for a successful implementation of CPM curriculum resources.
