T&L 2900: Teachers as Readers 2025-2026

This course is organized for the 2025-2026 academic year, to offer a monthly book club-style professional development for P-12 teachers. Each month we will read a common book(s) and come together to talk about the book. In this way, we will develop and foster a reading life for each participant, which can then be showcased to participants in academic institutions. In addition, we will discuss how the book and/or books similar can be included in the classroom and/or curriculum. We will also share suggestions of additional books in this genre or similar for our own reading and/or for our educational setting(s).

Cancellation Policy

If UND receives the Course Withdrawal Form 7 or more calendar days before the learning event start date, the fee paid to UND Professional Development for Educators minus a $35 processing fee will be refunded. If the fee paid to UND is less than $100 the processing fee will be waived. NO REFUNDS are available if a withdrawal notification is received 6 or less calendar days before the learning event start date.
