National Title IV-E Roundtable
The National IV-E Roundtable for Child Welfare Training and Education is a yearly gathering of representatives from public and tribal child welfare agencies and their university partners. Our goal is to share our resources to build a strong child welfare workforce through training and education. We're excited to bring this meeting to The University of Alabama in 2025!

The Annual Fall Social Work Conference affords an opportunity to bring national speakers along with the latest research to child welfare practitioners in Alabama. Through the Title IV-E partnership between the Alabama Department of Human Resources and the Alabama Higher Education Consortium on Child Welfare, The University of Alabama School of Social Work is able to host the conference every year focusing on a different aspect of public child welfare.

The National DSW Conference on Education and Social Work Practice is designed for prospective, current, and graduated DSW students as well as doctoral faculty and program directors. There will be discussions on the current landscape of DSW education, the career trajectories of DSW graduates, and networking opportunities for DSW students.
