Continuing the Conversation: Making a Difference for Alabama's Children and Families brings together child welfare professionals, foster and adoptive parents, former foster youth, educators, and community leaders for an engaging discussion on the current state of foster care in Alabama. Through personal stories, expert perspectives, and practical resources, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the challenges facing children in foster care and discover meaningful ways to support permanency, strengthen families, and make a lasting impact in their communities. A community meeting to address the current and future challenges of Alabama's children.

Grantees of the State of Alabama Department of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention/Children's Trust Fund will convene for a mandatory training event.

Conference activities will include workshops on a variety of subjects in addition to motivational speakers in the general sessions. The conference also allows agency workers to network with other agency workers from other counties.
