The Alabama Bail Bond Online Pre-licensing Course is an online bail bondsman pre-licensing course designed for prospective bail bond insurance providers. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be eligible to take the State of Alabama bail bond licensing exam.

Materials
This Alabama bail bond course is self-contained. No additional material or books are required. You may print each chapter if you wish to have written material. An inexpensive law dictionary might make it easier when you need to look up a definition. You canfind one at almost any national chain bookstore or from multiple online sources.

The Course
This Alabama bail bond course was developed under the auspices of the Alabama Department of Insurance and is accepted by them as the equivalent of 20 hours of classroom instruction. Successful completion of this bail bond course will entitle you to sit for the State of Alabama Bail Bond License examination, which is based on this book. Bail bond is a complex subject. Neither this course nor any other can teach you everything you need toknow about the business. Only time and experience can do that. Nevertheless, a serious attempt has been made to cover as many phases of the bail bond business as possible in as much depth as possible.

The Text
You have 180 calendar days to complete the Alabama bail bond course and pass its final examination. The training materials are divided into 9 lessons. At the end of each lesson, you are required to take a test of materials covered in that lesson.

We realize that many of our students already work for a bonding company or plan to do so. However, since the license permits you to open your own agency, we have to design the course as though we expect you to do that.
