Join our instructor Danielle Slate for Silversmithing 101, a hands-on, beginner-friendly class designed to introduce you to the foundational skills of silversmithing. Whether you're looking for a new hobby or starting your journey into jewelry design, this course is the perfect place to begin.

In This Class, You'll Learn:

?Tool Basics: What each tool is used for, and how to use it safely and effectively

?Metal Knowledge: Understand sheet metal, wire, bezel sizes, and how different metals are used in designs.

?Soldering Techniques: Learn about solder types, when to use them, and how to control your torch and flame confidently.

?Jewelry Fabrication Skills:

• Make single ring shanks, textured rings, and double ring shanks
• Make bezel set stone rings
• Learn piercing and sawing to make intricate, personalized designs
• Design and fabricate a pendant using skills learned
• Learn to attach jump rings to make a necklace for pendants

All Students Receive:

?Expert instruction hands on instruction

?A take home tool kit that contains all necessary tools and materials for the class

?Info on safe studio practices and setup

?Guidance on project planning and execution

?Guidance on how to navigate purchasing metals
