Course Detail: CCSC - Crazy Hot Culinary Summer Camp

The"Crazy Hot" Summer Camp is a three-day, hands-on summer camp designedto introduce students to professional kitchen skills, safety, and culinarycreativity. Over three mornings, students will transition from basic safety topreparing complete, restaurant-style dishes. This program offers ahigh-interest, career-exploration experience in a collaborative, fast-pacedenvironment. Master essential knife skills, proper sanitation, and safestovetop/oven operation. 

Learn the art of mise en place (preparation)and recipe reading. Apply techniques in a real commercial kitchen atmosphere.Foster communication skills through collaborative cooking. 

Pinellas County Schools Dress Code is enforced during summer camp. Closed toe shoes arerequired. 

Lunch is provided. Due to the large number of participants, we areunfortunately unable to accommodate individual food allergy or dietaryrequests. Participants with specific dietary needs may wish to bring their ownfood to ensure their requirements are met.

Insurance: Proof of insurance is required for allparticipants and must be emailed to robinsonky@pcsb.orgprior to the start of camp.

Permission Form: Please print the attached Permission Formand bring the original document with you on the first day of camp.
