Course Detail: ABDC - Applied Building Design & Construction

This introductory course provides students with a solid foundation in building construction concepts, making it an excellent starting point for those with little to no prior experience in the building construction trades. By the end of the course, students will complete a capstone project that showcases the skills they have developed through the course.

Whie in this course, you will learn:
  • Safety, tools, and basic woodworking
  • Wood projects and joinery
  • Indoor home repair
  • Indoor painting
  • Outdoor painting and weatherproofing
  • Fence repair
  • Fence building 
  • Capstone project (bench, shelf, fence, or repair)
Registration includes access to and use of all necessary tools and equipment for the successful completion of the course.

*Please note, cancellations must be made within 5 business days from the day an order is placed to qualify for a refund. All refunds will be issued less a $10.50 service fee. All refunds will be issued in the form of a check and not electronically returned to any credit/debit/gift card. Please allow 45 days for refund requests to be processed.
