Description: In this hands-on summer camp, teens willexplore the basics of the building and construction trades while learningpractical skills they can use for life. Campers will learn about personalsafety, practice using tools commonly used in construction and design, anddevelop foundational skills like measuring, marking, and cutting materials. 

Along the way, students will work with adhesives such as wood glue and puttywhile creating their own projects-including birdhouses and planters they can takehome. It's a fun, creative way to learn real-world skills and discover theworld of building and design. 

Pinellas County Schools Dress Code is enforced. Closed toe shoes are required. No crocs areallowed. No shorts are allowed. Students must wear pants. 

Lunch is provided.Due to the large number of participants, we are unfortunately unable toaccommodate individual food allergy or dietary requests. Participants withspecific dietary needs may wish to bring their own food to ensure theirrequirements are met.
