Course Detail: MFIRT - MetroFIT Resistance Training
Strength training plays a key role in supporting long-term wellness, and MetroFIT Resistance Training with Lori Mathews is designed to make it accessible, effective, and empowering. This class uses resistance-based exercises to help participants build muscular strength, improve joint stability, and enhance overall functional movement. Each session focuses on proper form, controlled effort, and gradual progression. Exercises may include resistance bands, weights, and bodyweight movements that target major muscle groups while supporting balance and coordination. Modifications are provided so participants can move at a pace that fits their experience level. You will leave class feeling stronger, more confident, and motivated to keep building on your progress. **Note: Participants should bring 5-15lb weights.
***Please Note: Childcare is not available. For safety and focus, children are not permitted in class. Participants must be at least 16 years old to enroll. Those who arrive with children may be asked to leave.
