2024 KCCM Conference!

 

The KU Public Management Center invites you to register for the KCCM conference set to take place on April 25^th and 26^th at the Oread Hotel in Lawrence, KS. As the proud hosting agency for this event, we collaborate with the Kansas Association of City/County Management (KACM) Conference Planning Committee to present the premier spring event for city and county leaders in Kansas.

Guided by the theme 'Community Chronicles: Writing Kansas' Next Chapter,' we plan to highlight stories of impact and explore visions of tomorrow as the conference will provide relevant content for today's local leaders. From compelling keynotes featuring thought-provoking speakers to intimate panel discussions and valuable networking opportunities, the KCCM Conference is designed to foster collaboration and innovation in local government.

Our goal is to create an environment where attendees can engage in meaningful conversations, share impactful stories, and envision the future of public service in Kansas. Whether you are a seasoned leader or an emerging professional, the KCCM Conference offers a platform to explore new ideas, connect with peers and organizations such as KACM, and contribute to the ongoing narrative of public service excellence.

• KACM Lunch Meeting $35. Thursday, April 25^th from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Attend the KACM membership meeting which includes the announcement of this year's scholarship winners.
• KACM Dinner $40. Join us at Centennial Park (600 Rockledge Rd in Lawrence) at 5:30 PM on Thursday, April 25^th for the 3rd Annual KACM Foundation BBQ provided by GBA's American Royal barbeque team. Thank you to GBA for generously sponsoring the event! Come for the conversation with colleagues, BBQ dinner, and fresh air. All are welcome. You do not need to be a KACM member to attend. See you on April 25th!
• WLG Networking Lunch - Free. Free to RSVP, but the cost of lunch is on your own. Join us in fellowship as we strengthen our network across Kansas and Missouri.
