Class will meet from 9:00am to 12:00pm and from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Your facilitator will insert breaks into the morning and afternoon sessions. During these breaks, you are highly encouraged to get away from your screens, move around, and even go outside. Research shows that physical movement is very important for sustained learning-especially in online environments. Participants should plan for 60 minutes (on average) of work between each class meeting to prepare for class and complete the required assignments. Since this class will meet via Zoom, participants must have access to: A computer or tablet with a video camera. Participants are strongly recommended to have cameras on as much as possible because seeing one another's faces each class greatly facilitates relationship development. A reliable internet connection. The ability to access KU's Canvas system (http://canvas.ku.edu) via an internet browser to access materials and complete assignments. This will work best with Chrome or Firefox as your browser. We will send login information at a later time, but for now just make sure your organization doesn't block access to the site. A location where you can engage without being interrupted.
