This course combines the required classroom instruction and range live fire test to renew a current Illinois Concealed Carry permit. It is suggested permit holders successfully complete the renewal course and apply for renewal 120 days before the permit expiration date. Please note: Students must have valid, unexpired permit to attend. The live fire range test will be held at Rink's Gun and Sport, 14363 Archer Ave, Lockport, IL. Students will be responsible for their ammunition costs and paying the range fee to Rink's. In order to accommodate schedules, the range time will be scheduled individually with the instructor. Instructors are approved by the Illinois State Police to conduct Illinois Concealed Carry firearms training. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an electronic certificate and photograph to upload when renewing their Illinois Concealed Carry permit. Students are solely responsible for completing the renewal process through the Illinois State Police; however, the instructor will provide an ID picture and assistance with any application questions.
