Lesley Shworles
Lesley Shworles
Biography: Chef Lesley Shworles, is currently a culinary instructor at Joliet Junior College teaching community education classes and their vocational skills program. She also owns a small catering company, Chefs At Your Door & More, LLC.
Chef Lesley graduated with high honors in 2015 with an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts. When Lesley isn't busy working, recipe testing or making anything sourdough she volunteers at her local Cancer Support Center, giving back to the community who helped her when she was diagnosed 10 years ago. She also holds a fundraiser every year in memory of her late husband, Chris, who was a firefighter. This past year she set up a scholarship in his name for students seeking a degree in fire science.
She loves to travel and hanging out with her family and friends. She resides in Frankfort with her husband, Bart, and her dog, Lola. She has two wonderful adult children, Chris and Miranda, whom she adores.
