About This Program

The Garden Learning Series invites you to learn new skills in one of the most peaceful settings on campus. This series brings community members together for hands-on workshops led by local experts and Garden staff. Each session focuses on a different topic like gardening basics, nature crafts, seasonal projects, and simple ways to support a healthy landscape at home. Participants will get practical instruction, see demonstrations, and try techniques they can use in their own yards. All sessions take place at the Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern and are designed for beginners and hobbyists who enjoy learning by doing. Join us for a relaxed, welcoming experience that celebrates plants, creativity, and the natural spaces that make our region special.
