Course Detail: Early Learning Conference of Coastal Georgia
Early Learning Conference of Coastal Georgia (ELC) is dedicated to advancing the quality of early childhood education in the coastal region of Georgia and surrounding area. Previously known as the Southern Conference on Children (SCOC), this conference brings childcare providers, educators, and administrators together to explore innovative practices, create space for collaboration, and enhance the quality of early learning programs.
Through dynamic workshops, expert-led sessions, and interactive discussions, participants will discover actionable strategies to foster child development, support families, and promote best practices in the field. Whether you're a seasoned professional or new to the field, the ELC is your opportunity to gain fresh perspectives, share ideas, and contribute to the growth of the early learning community in our region.
Conference Strands Include:
Innovative Teaching - Engaging activities that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving in young learners.
Leadership & Administrative Success - Tools for effective leadership in early learning centers and programs such as fostering a collaborative and motivating workplace culture and successful family engagement.
Healthy Habits - Best practices for promoting physical and mental health, safety, and nutrition in early learning settings.
Social-Emotional Wellness - Promoting resilience, empathy, and emotional regulation in young children.
STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math in Early Learning.
Language & Communication - Strategies to foster early literacy and support dual-language learners and families.
Group Registration - $95 Can only be applied to groups of 5 or more, discount will apply in the cart after the minimum is met.
Early Registration - $115 Ends July 31, 2025
Regular Registration - $135
Student Registration - $75 Applies to all full-time students in any degree program at any higher education institution. Must provide proof of enrollment after registering.
