Stan Gray
Biography:
Stan Gray is a renowned gardener celebrated for his expertise in cultivating a wide
array of iris varieties. His mastery is vividly displayed in the vast iris collection he has
meticulously developed and maintains at the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens in
Savannah. Nationally recognized, he is affectionately known as Mr. Green Genes and
Georgia's Iris Evangelist. A resident of Savannah since 2005, Stan has dedicated over

species at growing risk due to habitat loss.
