Family Fun Lab: Tybee Trip is the perfect opportunity for children and the special adults in their lives to learn, explore, and make lasting memories together!

Recommended for children ages 6-12. Each child must be accompanied by a registered parent, guardian, grandparent, or other responsible adult throughout the trip.

Leave the driving to us as we travel from Statesboro to Tybee Island for a day filled with coastal adventure. Our first stop is the Tybee Island Marine Science Center, where families will participate in two interactive marine science programs and discover Georgia's unique coastal ecosystems through engaging exhibits and hands-on learning experiences. From fascinating marine life to coastal conservation, there's something for explorers of all ages to enjoy.

After our visit, the group will enjoy lunch together at a local Tybee Island restaurant before spending the afternoon at Tybee Beach. Build sandcastles, search for seashells, stroll along the shoreline, or simply relax and take in the beautiful ocean views. Whether you're introducing a child to the beach for the first time or creating a new family tradition, this trip offers the perfect blend of education, recreation, and quality time together.

Registration Fee: $169 per family pair (includes one parent, guardian, or grandparent and one child).

Bringing another young explorer? Additional children may be registered at a discounted rate of $79 per child.
