Experience the best of Spain with Georgia Southern Continuing and Professional Education on a unique immersion program based in Seville. Hosted entirely by our CPE team, this ten-day experience is designed for adult learners and combines introductory Spanish lessons with cultural discovery, culinary experiences, and guided excursions throughout Andalusia.

You will explore Spain the way locals do, learning in a small, private group, engaging with Seville's vibrant culture, and discovering the history, traditions, and unforgettable landscapes that define the region.

Itinerary

Immerse yourself in the rhythm of Andalusia with Spanish language sessions, culinary experiences, and guided explorations that bring Seville's history and traditions to life.

What is Included in the Spain Travel Program?

  • Daily Spanish lessons in a private closed group (no prior experience required)

  • 10 days and 9 nights in private-room accommodations, with daily breakfast included

  • Welcome dinner with the school, guided walking city tour, and a hands-on Spanish group cooking class

  • Airport transfers from Seville International Airport (San Pablo Airport) to your accommodations and full group coordination throughout the program

  • Excursions and cultural immersion experiences:

    • Pueblos Blancos and Ronda Day Trip

      • Explore the picturesque Pueblos Blancos, the whitewashed villages set among Andalusia's rolling hills. You'll continue on to historic Ronda, taking in its dramatic gorge, the iconic Puente Nuevo bridge, and charming old town. This full-day experience blends breathtaking scenery with rich cultural heritage.

    • Córdoba: Mosque Cathedral and Historic Quarter

      • Travel to the UNESCO city of Córdoba, where you'll visit the stunning Mosque-Cathedral, one of Europe's most remarkable architectural treasures. Stroll through the Jewish Quarter's narrow streets and experience the city's unique blend of Islamic, Jewish, and Christian history.'

    • Seville Cathedral, Giralda Tower, and Royal Alcázar Tour

      • Discover three of Seville's most iconic landmarks. You'll tour the magnificent Seville Cathedral, enjoy panoramic views from the Giralda Tower, and wander through the Royal Alcázar's palaces and lush gardens. This guided experience highlights the artistry and cultural depth of the city.

    • Italica Roman City & Medieval Monastery Visit

      • Step into Spain's Roman past with a visit to Italica, home to one of the largest amphitheaters in the empire and beautifully preserved mosaics. Fans of Game of Thrones will recognize the amphitheater as the filming location for the Dragonpit, making this stop both historically fascinating and visually iconic. Continue on to a nearby medieval monastery, where you will experience the region's spiritual and architectural history across the centuries.

    • Flamenco Evening Experience

      • Enjoy an evening of powerful music, dance, and emotion as you experience authentic Andalusian flamenco. In an intimate venue, you'll witness world-class performers bring this iconic tradition to life.

    • Andalusian Wine Tasting Experience

      • Savor regional wines during a guided tasting that highlights Andalusia's distinctive varietals and traditions. You'll learn about local production methods and enjoy flavors that reflect the character of the region.

    • Guadalquivir River Scenic Cruise

      • Relax on a scenic cruise along the Guadalquivir River, taking in waterfront landmarks and panoramic views of Seville. It's a peaceful and refreshing way to experience the city from a new perspective.

Cancellation Policy

  • Deposits are non-refundable. In the event that Georgia Southern has to cancel the trip, all deposits will be fully refunded. 

  • Cancellations must be received by  

  • From the time of booking to:

  • 4 months before departure: 100% refund minus deposit

  • 2 months prior to departure: 50% refund minus deposit, substitutions available

  • Less than 2 months prior: No refund available, substitutions cannot include airfare

Passport Requirements

  • To enter Spain, you will need a valid passport or other travel document:

  • Validity: Must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended departure date (preferably 6 months)

  • Pages: Requires at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps

  • Issue Date: Must have been issued within the past ten years

Miscellaneous Information

  • If you choose to arrange your own flights, you will need to ensure that you can meet the group either at the Seville International Airport (San Pablo Airport) or at the hotel at the designated time.

  • Open to learners 18 years of age and older.

  • This experience requires a moderate activity level, including walking on uneven terrain, navigating cobblestone streets, and standing during tours. A reasonable level of mobility is recommended to fully enjoy Andalusia's scenic landscapes and historic sites.
