Astronomy Camp invites students to explore the universe through modern astrophysics. This immersive, research-based program goes beyond stargazing, offering hands-on experience with the tools and techniques astronomers use to study celestial phenomena.
Throughout the week, participants investigate topics like stellar evolution, black holes, exoplanets, and gravitational waves through experiments, data analysis, and telescope observations. Students build models to simulate pulsar emissions, analyze black hole mergers, and observe the Sun safely using specialized equipment.
Field trips to sites such as Lowell Observatory, where Pluto was discovered and Meteor Crater connect classroom learning to real-world space science.
Astronomy Camp isn't just about observing the stars, it's a journey into the science shaping the future of discovery.
